  1. Yes! Support your local library. For decades I didn’t. And I’m a reading specialist! I was spending ALL THAT MONEY on books. Guess what? I’ve donated most of them now, in an effort to declutter.

    In addition to saving money, Public Libraries serve an important social function. Most towns where I live do not have a town center or a town Square. We have cars, parking lots, and stores. However, nearly every town does have a public library. The library serves as an important social gathering place, as well as a purveyor of materials and knowledge.

    It’s win-win all the way. Support your library.
